AT BUDO MOUNTAIN, MARTIAL ARTS IS A WAY OF LIFE.
- Total Health
Our family-run school offers a well-rounded approach to classical martial arts for today’s world. Budo Taijutsu is a simple, elegant and effective art that encompasses nine ancient schools from the mountains of Japan.
Our welcoming studio is located just north of downtown. We invite you to stop by any time and get started with a free class or meeting with our head instructor. Our mission is to provide a healthy and challenging community where students are supported to develop their best selves.

THE PURPOSE OF OUR TRAINING IS TO
“GET WHAT WE NEED, WHILE MAKING
THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE”
The core of our art is rooted in compassion and respect for oneself, others, and the world as a whole.
As our 33rd Grandmaster said, “Ninpô is the way of attaining that which we need
while making the world a better place.”
EXPERIENCE TRANSFORMATION FROM WITHIN
MARTIAL ARTS WITH HEART
Our school is dedicated to the principle belief that to strengthen one part of your being, you must nurture all of yourself. Through physical movement and agility, you also improve your inner abilities for compassion and leadership. From our youngest students at the age of two, to our senior students (and even our instructors), we strive for a gentle approach and challenge to better the whole self.
Live your own health insurance plan! Build strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, and range of motion, while learning essential skills for life.
BudoMountain has a strong community of people who really care about each other and will welcome you with open arms.
We honor everyone’s unique path to leadership. As our students progress, their new sense of confidence increases foresight and direction at school, work, and home.
In our view, leadership means nothing if it is not balanced by compassion. That’s why we keep our core values strong and practice what we preach.
